1. Data Stored Locally

TuneUp! uses SwiftData, Keychain, and UserDefaults to store information locally on your device:

• SwiftData: Used to store alarm configurations created by the user.
• Keychain: Stores a single flag related to the trial period status.
• UserDefaults: Stores two flags that determine whether to show the helper view and landing screen.

No personal or identifying data is stored or transmitted outside your device.

2. Access to Apple Music

TuneUp! requests access to your Apple Music library to provide its core functionality. The App:

• Requests permission to access your music library;
• Does not access playback history, account information, or streaming data;
• Does not share any data with Apple or third parties beyond what Apple’s MusicKit framework inherently manages.

3. AlarmKit Usage

TuneUp! uses AlarmKit to create and manage alarms. These alarms are stored locally on your device using SwiftData. No alarm data is transmitted externally.

4. Notifications

TuneUp! uses local notifications to remind you about alarms or scheduled actions. No push notifications or external servers are involved.

5. Subscription and Trial

TuneUp! offers a trial period followed by a subscription managed entirely through the App Store. All payment and subscription processes are handled by Apple. TuneUp! does not have access to your payment information or Apple ID.

6. Third Parties

TuneUp! does not integrate advertising SDKs, analytics, or external tracking systems.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

All data created within the App (alarms, preferences, flags) remains on your device and can be deleted by removing the app. Deleting TuneUp! permanently erases all stored data.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the app and updated with a new "Last updated" date.
